Perspective of a salesperson
Preamble: I started relating to my work process with every other aspect of life and it seems that what I was following as process for my work actually co-relate to every other aspect of life also.
Generally following are steps which can be broadly categorized as a sales process-
1) Planning
2) Prospecting / Lead generation
3) Introduction / Opening
4) Qualifying
5) Presentation
6) Objection handling
7) Negotiation
8) Close
9) Referrals
Just analyze and see at which steps you are, even if you are looking for a boy for your daughter to get married or you are just taking auto on a busy road or talking to your kids or buying some books for your study or talking to your love. We keep shuffling between these processes continuously.
